Jatayu Nature Park holds the pride of having the world’s largest bird sculpture (200 ft long, 150 ft wide, 70 ft high, with 15000 sqft of in-built area) of the Great Bird Jatayu, a museum, theatre and a bird’s eye view experience inside the sculpture which is situated 1000 ft above sea level and offers the mesmerising views of the panoramic scenes around.

The soul of the sculpture unravels the choice to fight and resist demonic acts; as was Jatayu’s commitment towards Sita - a mark of womanhood and purity. Jatayu the valiant God of the Hindus in the form of a huge bird, is a bright image of bravery in the Epic Ramayana. Ravana the demon king who abducted Sita, and took flight in the Pushpakavimana  (the celestial airplane) was stopped and resisted mid-air by Jatayu. Ravana with his mighty sword ‘Chandrahasa’ overpowered Jatayu, after a fierce battle which rattled the seven skies. Jatayu fell on a huge rock but held on to his breath till Rama found his way to him. The valiant Bird was given salvation by Rama.
